Oh no. The #monsterdon streams are out of sync.

Now everyone delayed will learn that this guy and ludwig drive off the edge of the grand canyon in a convertible while running from the FBI.

(spoilers for 20 minutes in the future, btw)

#monsterdon still alternating between having The End of the World (Skeeter Davis) and It's the End of the World as We Know It (REM) stuck in my head

#monsterdon See Hammer Horror figured out this whole shooting at night thing ages ago. Just get 10 minutes of blurred lights in a pitch black soundstage and you can re-foley and re-use them in every fim you make going forward

There was definitely a point early on where it felt like someone in this production was actually trying to make a movie. That NASA tracking shot was legitimately cool! And then ... I don't know. It's like they lost interest and finished up quick so they could go watch Sha Na Na get their hambone boiled or whatever people did in the 70s.

End of the World was a bit slow, but overall not bad, and I did appreciate the sound design, even if the synth was a bit loud and repetitive at points.

As always, thanks to @Taweret for hosting, @cherizilla for the bingo card, @JoeWynne for the drink recipe and trivia, @ryan for the live stream, @paco for data analysis at gallery.don.monster, @combatwombat for the replay, and all of you for making it awesome!

#monsterdon are all movies naturally like this, and it takes a skilled sound team to make sure most movies don't sound this way? Or was the sound here uniquely bad

#monsterdon oh my God, the credits just ended and I feel like the white noise machine of a movie that was blasting at me since 9:00 has finally silenced
